The Actor's House Collective
The Actor’s House Collective is a curated, actor-led space where performers come together each week to train, experiment and engage with great writing from film. Scenes are assigned in the moment and there is no preparation required. You arrive, you perform and you watch. Drawing on writers and filmmakers such as Stanley Kubrick, Sofia Coppola, Michael Mann, Kenneth Lonergan and John Patrick Shanley, the sessions focus on doing rather than discussing in a supportive environment of your peers.
I have been lucky enough to work with many incredible directors in my career. John Crowley, David Yates, Whit Stillman, Agnes Merlet, Joachim Ronning and Rian Johnson. For years I ran an actor’s studio for professionals in Brooklyn. Since returning to Belfast in 2023, I ran six sold out courses at The Crescent Arts Centre before establishing the Collective in my own studio.
This is a drop in gym for the working actor to keep alert, fresh and inspired. It is not only a place to develop and experiment with your own craft, but also a resource for community within the profession.

One on One Coaching
Sessions are bespoke, tailored and focused to the individual. Here you develop clear, confident and grounded performances. I have been working in the film industry for eighteen years as an actor and now also as a director and filmmaker. The one-on-one coaching offers practical rehearsal with a director’s perspective, focusing not only on performance but how the work translates on camera and within the industry.
If you are preparing for an audition, theatre or film, want to take the next step from drama school to the industry, or if you simply want to work one on one to develop confidence, the coaching sessions could be a resource. It is also an opportunity to hone skills such as acting for camera, sight reading scripts and making quick decisive choices celebrating instinct rather than perfection.
It takes courage and persistence to work as an actor in the film industry. The coaching offers a space to maintain your instrument, experiment and grow.
